Do you feel like voting is useless in general? 9

No (5) 56%
-
Yes (4) 44%
Yup
See - almost all countries in Europe voted for a rascist party and now majority of people are crying in "no no no we do not want this" altho they most of the people voted for this and each person who voted differently is like "man if more people had just not voted this, so they would not complain now" well its too late
And than there is America who manages to F themself too. Like I heard if you vote a specific party (IDK if this is how it works) you elect a politician who than wins in the area he gets voted in and than this dude can decided who he picks as possible option for a president. This is so dumb like ... Here in Europe you vote that you vote a party and a local representative of the party but you can also vote a party but a different guy or woman from a different party depending on your liking for example you could vote a christian party and a left politician. And than the party with most votes give you the next chancelor and the amount of elected percentages a politician has can help them to maybe join the parliament (depending on how much percentages the party gets, they get a differentr number on chairs (or not any if too little votes) for the parliament and the areas where their people have a lot votes it could help that these people than could join the parliament (I know a big city would have more people to vote for one politician, but IDK how it actually works here) and its a bit better but still meh
Also there is comunism where the votes are often manipulated. I heard for example in one year 82% of all adults in Turkey went voting and Erdogan got 94% of the adult's votes... how is this possible when 82% and not 94% went voting?
Yup

TBH, the reason why far-right parties have risen over the years in Europe stem from ppl being ignored by politicians over decades in former manufacturing areas, and Merkel's "come all ye migrant" policy back in 2015, which was disastrous.
yeah i voted for a far right party cause i am very against the invasion of indians and muslims that is going on in my country, amongts other things, and it feels like it didn't matter cause the majority kept voting for a party that has won for over 30 years, even though in that party last year one important person in it got arrested for corruption.
I thought that this thread was going to be about AKP forum voting.
They don't listen because of a large amount of disinformation. There was a ton of disinformation during the 2024 United States presidential election.
Also, you can manufacture fraudulent ballots, but common sense says that A) none of those fraudulent ballots would be cast, B) they would be destroyed (a ballot is paper. You can destroy paper), or C) they would count as invalid ballots
Fraudulent ballots are not fake ballots - they are real ballots (most commonly overprinted and over distributed mail-ins) fraudulently cast by political operatives in the names of actual registered voters (some alive, some dead) who did not bother to show up at the polls. These political operatives see no problem with this, believing that their ballots reflect how such unmotivated voters would have voted had they taken the trouble to get off the couch and show up.
Unfortunately, once the mail-in envelopes are discarded, there is no way to trace the true origins of these ballots.
That's how so many districts in cities like Philadelphia and Houston end up with 115% voter turnouts - which you are never allowed to question or you must be some kind of racist.

I'm sorry... ... ... INDIANS????!!!!!
Thank goodness Emmanuel Macron created the Renaissance party, and he won the election for president of France!
Thank goodness Emmanuel Macron created the Renaissance party, and he won the election for president of France!
However, his party is nowhere near as powerful as it used to be, and he kept messing everything up by rowing back on policies and trying to be a centrist populist (which has failed). RN is riding high in the polls, and will more than likely gain even more seats at the next NA election.
portugal
