It is with great sadness, I present a memorial badge once more not even a month after the loss of Kim Sae-ron.
This morning the world was made aware of a massive loss to the music industry, Choi Wheesung aka by his nickname Realslow, died this morning as a result of cardiac arrest after many years of struggling with an prescription addiction after losing a close friend tragically.
Wheesung was responsible for many hit songs performed by Mamamoo, Girls' Generation, Gummy, G.Na, Jessica Jung, Lee Hyori, SE7EN, Seo In Guk, Son Dam Bi, SHINee, and many many others. He was known as a close personal friend of Lee Hyori as well and worked with her on many projects outside of just co-writing many of her songs.
Wheesung got his career started as an member of the short lived 1990s boy group A4 in 1998 at just 18 years old, before they added new member Austin. He then would reroute his career as a member of YG Entertainment sublabel M-Boat, and release his debut album in 2002.
