Anyway good for them. They had really successful careers, and they did a good job building Dreamcatcher up from where it started. If they want to do something else after nearly 10 years, they'll of course be able to. We'll hopefully see them at the reunion many years from now.
i disagree coming from a small company
who doesn't have lot of money to promote you, it's hard to keep your fandom so you can't depend that much on tour and performance
especially when new groups debut and might steal your fans, if you lose your fans tours and performance are useless
and Stan attractor are needed for this to keep the fans but also be able to bring new fans in the fandom who might want to join your fandom and attend your tours

Dreamcatcher is in the phase where they have a stable fanbase. I doubt many new fans are going to check out third gen Dreamcatcher when they have debuting late 4th gen/5th gen groups to choose from. Dreamcatcher's base is probably early to mid 20s (probably even late 20s) at this point with a relatively large international segment, so it's not like they're going to be targeting teenagers that are likely to jump because they're stanning people.
Their fan base is what it is and probably decreasing as time goes by.
Unless they have some content go viral, that is just what they have.
I doubt we will see much (if any) new music with all members.
The 3 member sub unit will release some music, the band will release some music.
Maybe, maybe, the 6 Korean members will release an anniversary song/mini once or twice.
Handong is going to be trying to get a career in China going, she may only be available for a tour here and there.

Nah you're thinking in the wrong direction, small company or big, stan attractors are good for selling merch and albums, vocalists are the ones who put asses on seats. Because regardless how big of a stan you are, when it comes to concerts, your priority would be experiencing a good show and performance.
I don't think this is a real disbandment, they just left the company, but will promote with the group as well. After 10 years, it's not surprising they want to do something new as well. If they can do a comeback every 4-5 years, I'm okay with that. Real fans will follow their solo activities anyway.
I am sad about this announcement but they had a good run. I wish good luck to Handong, Gahyeon and Dami.

Yoohyeon and JIU are the stan attractors and the most biased members.

Since Handong is foreigner, unless another agency picking her up, which is unlikely, she must leave Korea. She won't have a member of parliament rigging a working visa for her like Hanni.
