    You don't get it. The problem isn't the fact that you're buying multiple versions, but YOU ALONE won't buy 600K albums.


    Just use Twitter or whatever social media her Chinese fandom uses, and you can see they're doing fundraising to buy albums. If you look at her pre-orders now, it's more than 200K already and pretty much all of those comes from China. Even her own fans saying online that the Chinese fans are crazy. Not as a slander, but still.


    As I said, I couldn't care less if she sells 10M albums in 2 days, I just don't like when people acting as if bulk-buying or mass-buying, whatever we wanna call it, is just a myth.


    I mean, for God's sake, Jisoo selling more albums in China than Lady Gaga in America. 🤣


    BTW, I just looked at the price, not sure about China, but in Europe her album cost half the price as other Kpop albums.

    you are wrong they didn't use fundraising for her album....her fansite provide links so where they know where to buy so her fans can buy albums themselves You can argue they encourage them to buy .it's not the same thing as the fansites doing fundraising.


    also this is not exclusively to jisoo or blackpink other groups esp SM fandom groups ( and many boy groups in general) used to do not sure why you are coming for Jisoo. Blackpink just happen to have a bigger reach but it's not much different

    I'm not gonna tell you the same thing over and over again. It's actually nonsense that you think fans need for a link, and that's the reason Jisoo has 600K+ and now 200K+ pre-orders in China alone. How can you call those people Jisoo fans or Kpop fans in general if they don't know where to buy the albums? Be serious. It's like when people say: "I need a link for the MV." Like: What? Are you serious? If you're not subscribed for your faves' channel, who are you then?🤣


    Never said, it's exclusive to Jisoo, most BIG4 fandoms do this, especially boy group fans, but most of them doesn't have a massive and crazy fandom. Most Kpop fans just want to buy for themselves, and that's all.


    You have no idea (looks like) how many times I've seen Kpop fandoms tweeting about a fundraising for album sales, and even streaming. A lot of fans sending money for a big fandom acc to buy Spotify Premium, and pay for voting on Music Shows, as if they can't do it for themselves. Never understand these things, btw. Especially these 2 things.


    I mean, I can understand the Music Show votes, because one person can mass vote their faves in the last hour like hell, and they can win, but the Spotify is absolutely ridiculous. And these accounts recieving thousands of dollars, buying albums etc, and probably throw it all away later if they can't sell it. I've seen it many times. Not with Jisoo's album but still.

    Jisoo doesn't have the biggest china solo fandom, bgs sell way more thanks to their c bars and even j bars so I don't know how this is something so unique that every time Jisoo breaks a record sales wise people see the need to say "china fans" as if 10 people bought 200k albums.

    Jisoo's sales compared to Yuqi is like 3 times bigger.


    Why are you comparing Jisoo with groups? That makes no sense. Boy groups eating girl groups alive in general for 2 decades now when it comes to album sales! We're talking about soloists, and as I said, 95% of them don't sell more than 500-600K overall. That's why BoA hold her record for almost 20 years!


    Again, never said it's only happening to Jisoo, but her fans have to stop acting as if her sales are organic! Let's be real, these fans only buying her album for the charts and most of them probably won't even get these albums! I don't really care, but for me this is not a real achievement!


    BoA sold more than 800K in 2003-2005 when mass-buying, streaming, and social media wasn't a thing! For me, that's the real achievement! Nowadays, Kpop fans are crazier than ever. It's not about music anymore, it's about stupid stats. And no, I'm only talking about Jisoo.

    Where did I say that? I said, she's Chinese, so she has an advantage compared to other Idols.


    Yes, this helps her career, but she's not gonna sell 1M albums with every comeback. Someone already said, if she's not selling 1M now, people call her a flop. This is why I'm fed up with people obsessing over stupid stats like it's their own stats.


    Anyway, I think we said enough about this matter. I don't care if ANYONE sells 10M album in 1 day, what I hate is what comes with this success thanks to their "fans".

    but for BOA I'm a fan of all the soloists (and/or their groups) - damn I'm such a success stan

    because they get some discounts lol that's why they her Cbars provide links since they can get them as fansites and get a better prices for regular people to buy. Still that part of her fandom are made up of regular Chinese people not much different than other fans for other parts of the world.
