  • Have to salute OP for his dedication for a thread that seemingly nobody on Allkpop cares about. He tries his best to promote vietnamese music and artists, but for me it looks more of desperation and obsession.

There is a new K-pop girl group that has currently 3 trainees that have been revealed with one of them being a Vietnamese girl whose real name is Lâm Võ Mỹ Phương also known by her stage name as Meefang. Meefang introduced as a member of MissDica Girls on 6 January 2025. Meefang is from Saigon in Vietnam. Well for starters they were the first Vietnamese group to perform in Korea and they were the first ones to debut a K-Pop single amidst their Vietnamese promotions still taking place. They disbanded in 2019, all three are still performers but as soloists now, with Liz being the most popular of the three amongst fans. However, Emma is the most successful one, having brand deals in the years since with TikTok and many other brands, in addition to her releasing music. Ivone is still promoting in South Korea, and has completely rebranded as K-Pop singer since early 2020.

There was 4th member too but May has completely fallen off the grid since leaving the group. She has not reemerged in the 10 years since. Her profile info from her entertainment company has her listed as becoming active again in 2025, so we shall see how that goes.
