AESPA won bcoz they deserve best performance and Seventeen won bcoz of Criteria....for artist of the year 40% are record sales and Seventeen were leading in prediction.

aespa are great performer, but in terms of dancing and choreos njs just did better this year. njs are wierdly underated as dancers but they were literally flying around with how sweet and doing monwalks and stuff. that choreos was just gorgeous. same as supernatural choreo. a classic already.

also for the criteria thing maybe, maybe seventeen could have gotten album daesang, but the artist daesang is riduculous since they didn't even had one hit song this year. it's f*cking ridiculous. and if a 'criteria' allows that nonsense, then it must be changed right away.

but somehow, i don't remember such level of nonsense on mama daesang distribution in a long time, so the probleme must be something else. AHEM, hybe PAYOLA!! (just to step on aespa AGAIN)

not everything is Hybe payola....Artist of the year criteria was also the same last year...if anything Its MAMA fault for giving more priorities to record sales. Also most of dance performance, vocal etc has always been more about chart performance. Not a fan but Aespa Truely derserve for the year they had and impact wise.

It should have received the Artist of the Year award. SVT's 2024 was a flop

newjeans won the damn daesang last year, not some hitless boy group that barely made any noise pff. (no offense to seventeen, they're lovely). and njs sales were great this year as well. (specially in asia.) they're double million sellers with a japanese debut song in the top ten, and how sweet being only blocked by the song of the year. duh!

They h honestly killed this year. Armageddon, Supernova and whiplash was just an amazing trilogy
