Yes, the fandom is really silent because many of the guys are still in the military and pre-recorded content seems to slow down. Jin is working non-stop but Hobi has a few weeks before fresh content can be put out. I feel like people misunderstand this inactivity as Bts going down because of the storm at Hybe but I feel like that's a wish from haters and a misunderstanding of the behavour of fans or casuals without the members being "accessible". Fans are mostly quiet because there is no way to interact with most of the members at the moment.

i don't think i realised just how popular BTS was on Japanese twitter until Jin was released.. the engagement on those Japanese tweets were crazy and the sheer number of tweets was something else.
All of the members were in the military for 6 months so when Jin came back, ARMYs were so excited hence the tweets and engagements.
