Do these kpop idol companies now their music is being used in apps like this? This isn’t the first time I’ve come across this..

  • Sometimes to ki ll time when waiting for the bus I play this one game and I got an add that used idols music but this time around it appeared to be a piano game.

I know it’s for western artist to and I have even thought about reporting it to twenty one pilots (a band I love) right like I just think it’s weird.

I never seen the official groups or anything promoting this, and I haven’t seen StrayKids post about their music being used either. Do I report it? Do I share screenshots? I’m not sure. IMG_7003.png

  • I saw a corny advertisement for an AI game where you can 'chat' with AI characters, and they used Jungkook in their ad. It's obviously not a collaboration with BH nor they have the company permission to do so. I bet they also have tons AI versions of other idols to make money by feeding the fantasies of Kpop fans, especially younger ones. It’s quite scary. I forgot the name of the game, but I remember it already had millions of downloads when I checked.

  • App ads are generally scummy thing. I've seen kpop songs and idols images used. I've seen assets from famous games used to advertise shitty phone gacha game. Influencers "advertsing" the game when the video of them is actually them hyping a different app/game, the clip is just stolen and repurposed.

Not to mention the ads that show gameplay that isn't in the real app at all.

This is so true!, I just strongly dislike the gardenscale games which shows a fragile family situation and other gross stuff.

I want to report it all I just don’t know how or even why that stuff is allowed

    Kinda sad really

reminds me of a Youtuber in Germany who first when he was new on YT reacted to advertisments, but in a way that he made quit funny commentary on aspects of whats wrong on these ads and all and when he came across the "Coin master" he was so pissed on the many used celebs, influencers, the not existent age-restriction to play this game and how scammy it was, he tried to get the whole game taken off of the web or make that ads for apps can not have scammy ads anymore. All he got was that the game ended up with a 18+ age restriction, but altho he said he apparently managed that ads are not allowed to show fake gameplay anymore that is not in the games and that they would make a law in Germany that says only ads for games are allowed if its actually in the game and no ads for games who scam people... welp, it did nothing, cause the scammy ads are still there and this Youtuber thought he ended the scammers 🙈 :meme-confused:
