To me their real domination is seen on Spotify and international charts like it's crazy the gap between their numbers to others like +5M streams is huge imo and to achieve this as soloists is amazing! I'm glad the fb is pretty much still there with them!

The queastion is, is it good for kpop? it's a bit worrisome if groups like Blackpink and BTS still is so big even if they are old groups and barrely active.

Their comeback is gonna be even better and bigger next year!

Hey, I'm excited to see what legacies they carve out for themselves individually. It's unprecedented for K-Pop stars to cross over like that, but this isn't really K-Pop anymore, and I don't know why you all want to cling to the limits of that label.

I think it is actually. Perhaps not for those who enjoy the permanent re-shuffle and short lived-carreers of people that aren't left with much at the end of it, but for it will inspire longevity in other acts, legitimize the field as something more than a puppy-mill and probably raise the quality of the output if the early contacts made can become more enduring legacies.

I think their group content may have peaked in Korea, but certainly not on global scale. Their next group comeback is gonna be very huge globally.

3rd gen was the introduction of KPOP for many international fans, and many of those people are more casual fans who only know of a handful of groups.

4th gen is far from over. we are seeing the same effect with 5th gen having a slow start and not being able to eclipse 4th gen groups as of now.
