What did you do in the early 2010s in Western Entertainment?

Well, I'm "old" so for be it's not much different today. I have acctually never been that intrested in music or listen to much music when, even if I had my favorites and taste of cource. If we jump to 2010, by intrest in music was even lower I think. So how I got in to kpop and jpop around 2010 is a bit strange. But maybe just because I felt the western music had become a bit boring. My intrest in music was from the 90ies and early 2000ies.

For me it have always been about computure games, from my youth until today. Mostly solo games, but some few online multiplayer games. So 2010 it was mostly only computer games, well and the ordinary movies and tv-series.

I was like 8 back then so i was exposed to a lot of MTV, I even remember all the way back when i was 5-6 in 2008 they were playing Pink, Lady gaga, Katy perry, Beyonce, taylor swift relentlessly, this must be when they were starting to pop off. Crazy to think one generation could produce so many poptars and not be eclipsed even 15 years later

I remember some old German stuff I checked out at that time, since I was new to the Internet in 2010 and had no idea what you can even find on the web. I often looked up random channels who collected music, no mather if it was their own acts, they had liscenses for th songs or if it was random fan-uploads etc.

I checked out so many old songs, but also new songs from that time. I was like: anything I know or want to know has to be on the Youtube-accounts. I was like really digging up old things and than trying to see if the same acts have new music that I didn't knew xD

I was also trying to find other stuff like Macklemore or Paramore and many other acts, but I mainly remember the German stuff I checked out back then
