    I'm always really grateful that BTS never depended on China for sales. Too volatile, too many strings attached. I'm surprised their sales are as good as they are, tbh.


    Side note: My other group is becoming a little more popular in China and Taiwan and holy hell those fans are fucking problematic and legit insane. I do not want the group to have to depend on income from those fans. I've never seen anything quite like it. I knew they were bad but to see it in person is truly something else. (the new Korean fans are almost as bad) Hoping desperately that the group can somehow go the BTS route and not have to deal with these fans too much.


    I'm off-topic but the earnings discussion just kinda reminded me of the bigger picture.

    yes but the low price allows for bulk buying and the bigger problem is that there is nothing preventing that. Like the user said 10k in one go? How is that fair, to compare it to countries and sales where you can do one sale in one go and if you go over a certain amout it gets nullified

    Since 2021, all digital sales are limited to one per customer. This isn't some honour system, it's literally the law and hardblocked by the platforms.


    There's no bulk buying in most of those results up there. One per person hard limit.

    Not all groups have their albums downloadable in China. SM needs to make this happen first.

    Badguy was pointing out Drama is there, because he misinterpreted IsaidIsaid, who when they said they weren't available (the unwritten part is 'till now', with Drama being their first Digital), Badguy interpreted that as 'not available at all' or just being his rather obnoxious self in response.
