Stray Kids will be headlining the major UK festival, BST Hyde Park, on July 14 + I-Days Milano Festival in Milan, Italy on July 12!

OMG congrats Stray Kids, I can't wait to see their performance!!
-
I genuinely love how they've been building a reputation of performers acts with so much big gigs globally. It will help them even more to have a solid long career, when they fell off in popularity and people still think It's worth it to pay to see them live in the future.
Popularity fades, but talent is forever!

Imagine headlining a Festival in UK and Italy after already headlining France. Stray Kidssss

Oh god, I really want to see them, and I have been dying for them to come to London for forever… but I don’t know if I want to shell out the mega bucks for a festival set up when k know I’ll have next to no interest in any of the other acts…
Super excited for them, but I wish it was stand alone concert dates.

If It's part of the tour, I believe in some european countries (like France, Germany, maybe even the Netherlands) they will have stand alone concerts, while for Italy and UK It will be Festivals.
I suppose Live Nation is testing waters with them, cause they probably want to book bigger european venues to Stray Kids in the future than only the regular arenas K-pop acts usually go, maybe on the encore or next tour.
-
I think they're testing to see what kind of response they'll get in Europe for their future tour. It also confirms that the tour isn't happening in the first half of the year.

This is such a smart move to headline Festivals to not only to expand an audience and building a reputation, but also testing waters for potential touring dates in the future. Most K-pop acts are not as privileged, so they just have to book and hope for the best. I'm satisfied at how they've been marketed.

What is curious is that the format of these Festivals are basically concerts. The I-Days Milano, for example, each headliner perform per day. And I saw someone mentioning on Reddit Guns n Roses performed a 3-hour long set when they were headliners last year at BST Hyde Park.
So I believe these might be part of the tour, while they will visit other countries for stand alone concerts (France and Germany being lock since it was already spoiled).

I guess they plan to do a stadium tour later this year and festivals are a good way to test the water.

Right, so it basically works as a tour date where they perform their tour set, even though it's a festival

This makes me wonder if perhaps they are considering that an arena tour in Europe might be a downgrade

-
oh wow that's huge
Good job

Congratulations Stray Kids

We knew they'd need to test waters somehow. Thought It would be booking arenas for their first european leg, but followed the Festival route.
It's too abrupt to book a stadium tour instantly in a market they haven't toured It's been 5 years. And, when they did, was for showcases with the average of 4k.
