Cube giving Lightsum even worse treatment than clc

When they debuted I was actually exited abt if they would be popular... Now I forgot they exist

I was sad seeing how they upload vlog episodes and variety show episodes on their youtube channel but no one is watching it...

I hope the song is good and they will have at least semi-viral moment

they really need it because if this won't work out now for them

then I'm pretty sure that CUBE will debut new girl group in first half of 2024.

They were probably waiting to see if Sangah would make it into the Queendom group.

Their debut sold decently, but all interest in them seemed to completely fade away.

Hopefully their fans are still waiting for them and are just quiet right now.

It will be their final comeback since Jeon Soyeon will debut a group she produced in next year.

It seems Cube will only retain Sangah.

Cube made Lightsum just to have a group to lean on they thought Idle was done for that Soojin scandal but because idle came back stronger than ever they didn't see a need for them I wouldn't be surprised if cuz ends up debuting a new gg in 2024 cuz the way I say lightsum is done for

It's probably not quite as nefarious as it sounds.

Title tracks in Cube, at the time anyway, used to go through blind selection committees. Soyeon's 'NO' that was a CLC title was one such song selected from blind selection. All idle Title tracks until I burn were also selected through blind selection committees - that stopped once Soyeon became executive producer and she had final say on all Idle album's songs.

Soyeon's B-side Weather was one such song that was rejected or replaced as an Idle title track (by Dumdi Dumdi).

The music was the problem. Their first album sold pretty well (~40k) so there was definitely hype. They just didn’t have a solidified music direction/concept and I don’t think CUBE did a good job selecting the title tracks. But I hope this comeback does well
