oh shit lol
On September 18 KST, Mnet unveiled a short video on YouTube calling for the recruitment of 100 men and women (50 from either gender) who have a goal of getting married someday even though they are currently single. In the video, viewers are reminded that we are getting closer and closer to Christmas Day (treated as a Valentine's Day-like holiday in Korea), asking them if they are going to be single for it again.
"From attractive single men and women boasting spectacular features to unique contestants with eye-catching marriage conditions, the love race of 100 men and women heading towards the goal of ‘marriage’ begins," the network teased, referring to the show as a 'large-scale couple-matching program.'
In the program, participants will be seeking out the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with, revealing not only their looks but their personalities and varied perspectives on marriage. The show will also provide them with "the optimal conditions for falling in love" and be led by a team of managers from a real matchmaking company. In the best possible case, 'Couple Palace' will produce couples who actually go on to get married.
