They stare at the video like this then remember they have to react so then they turn to this " wow" the titles are also embarrassing like one title is "shy asain boy reacts to _____" I'm being dead serious this is what some K-pop fans click on and love. and locals know that if they put BTS or blackpink in the title people will click. Or they react to weird stuff like ship videos. I can't.
I cannot stand Kpop reaction videos

I agree or cute Korean girl reacts to ( insert title)

I also hate it when they pause the video like every 5 seconds, or keep rewinding the vid
-
Yeah, like sure ill react when its my first time seeing a new music video, but I wont act like I've never seen what a music video is like. and your right, most captions depend on what song it is for example, "Shy boy reacts to Gimme Gimme By NCT" or "'bruh' girl reacts to Losing You by Wonho" like, its actually kinda cringy, I've seen people fall of their chairs just by seeing a certain member or the artist appear. I never watch those.
-
there's two shawol I love to watch. 2kim2lee1choi or something like that. They love the music so I love to see it. They aren't there just for clout, like a few *cough*bris*cough*
And I really love Monq. I'm a part of his community and damn that man loves music.

Reaction videos are by definition low effort content. And I say this even though I watch reaction videos from time to time, about music or movies. I especially like to see how younger people react to older movies of my childhood or teenage days, and see if these movies stand the test of time in the eyes of a younger audience. To me that's where the value is. Still, it's low effort nonetheless.

I mean the only one I can handle is the guy who reacts to the music videos to see how the editing was (I forgot his name), I think he's cool and he only rewinds to show why he thinks the editing was good or bad.
-
not you making this thread when imma about to start my reaction channel soon beach, i don't give a fuck about 99,99% of kpop groups and most of them music is literal trash, but imma pretend it's the best shit in the world just for their delusional fans to click.

Idk, how they come up with those titles like wtf
-
Some reactions are pretty overdone, but The Kulture Study/Form of Therapy is actually a good one, they share opinions on the music, and things like that.

Yes, because PD goes beyond merely reacting and also provides insight about the concept, musical direction, video direction of an MV.

Yep, it's pretty interesting.

I don’t watch reaction videos tbh. I only like it when the group reacts to their own videos since they give little info of what was happening when they where filming it and their comments tend to be either funny or amusing and what not. But other people who I don’t know? Just not that interested.
-
I never watch them because I know their fake. 90% of reactions on YouTube are anyway...
With the power of editing and acting, you may never ever know... -
They're for sure getting unoriginal and redundant at this point. I rarely even click on them.
