The time former Pristin Kyla aired all of the group members' dirty laundry because people wrongly blamed her for disbandment

First of all let me just start by saying that whoever thought Kyla was to blame is dumb, the girl was a minor and had a traumatic head injury and got shipped off home by Pledis to recover because her parents were outraged by the treatment she was getting in the middle of a serious medical situation, that's on Pledis and Pledis alone.

TWITTER especially, but mostly the whole fandom blamed a kid on the disbandment, instead of blaming the people in charge. They even blamed her for the hiatus, instead of realizing that groups came back with missing members all the time, and Pledis could've done that for Pristin too.

Kyla had a big online presence afterwards and a Discord community and one day she had enough and spilled all of the secrets.

(it wasn't really unprovoked and Kyla was bullied by members and was a kid so we shouldn't be surprised she was happy when they were being called out for other problematic behavior, such as Rena/Yaebin with the N-word and asking fans to pay for her stuff, but OUTING SOMEONE is never okay so F her for that, I don't care that it's an open secret and everyone knows, she should never have done that)

(all of the info goes in line with rumors that were happening among fandoms back then such as there being mean girls in Pristin, Nayoung not getting along with some members and calling them out for bad behavior, Pledis basically blacklisting Siyeon for years after, Haknyeon dating a member, and Soyeon and Yaebin didn't like each other since Produce, there being multiple pictures of Pristin clubbing that fans attributed to other stuff etc. - I'm not saying they shouldn't have had fun, but maybe underage clubbing, drinking and smoking isn't the best for anyone, and taking underage members with you is irresponsible even if you are of age)

I remember back when this happened people were truly horrible to her but now the narrative is somehow she did this unprovoked. Imagine being bullied in the group, bullied by knetz for your looks, bullied by Twitter because you're not a size zero, having a traumatic head injury, being in an unhappy and unfavorable situation with your company and hating your coworkers and somehow getting blamed for other people being messy and the CEO and staff being absolute whackos to the group too. Like, she didn't cause the group to disband for sure. I'd be messy too. But she was MESSY messy and so was her family.

How did her fansites not find out if she was smoking/clubbing so much? Most of the time they are the first one to know. But when she graduated in 2019, ALL of her fansites came back and none of them posted anything shady during her hiatus. Some of them were still around last time I checked.

There were rumors and there was a time around when some photos came out that a whole bunch of fansites of certain members left. Iirc, I always heard she treated her fans well so maybe clubbing with other people wasn't a dealbreaker for the fansites that remain?

I also don't think her being upset about SECURITY CAMERAS IN DORMS is unreasonable.

Like, this photo was from a Halloween festival in Itaewon and some of the members went, but there were other photos of them taken by other people that caused dramas in the fandom.

(there used to be more photos of them clubbing online but since their fandom is dead, those accounts that posted them are dead too)

Yup, I agree with you.

They should've just debuted Pristin V + Siyeon and Gyeongwon. Kyla was a kid and wasn't ready, Sungyeon was in the group for her songwriting and Yehana was really sweet but had no stage presence.
