if Bang Si Hyuk ever got on ozempic, would people frame that as due to the Korean beauty standard

whats ozempic?
-
ozempic, yes I know all about that drug that these celebs are taking to lose weight, to me that's just sickening, isn't it for diabetic people and obese people? if bang sihyuk was/is on ozempic, it would not shock me. I don't think korean people care that much about him or his body, but I did see some article of them praising his weight loss. he isn't obese at all but you know in korea they view anything other than skinny as obesity. ozempic is an epidemic in the industry, quick fix to lose weight but no hard work, I mean its like gold for those people. anyways rant over.

why would his health info go public?

yes it's a medicine that a lot of celebs have been using (notably the kardashians) I don't think his health info has gone public (not sure) but it wouldn't be a far off guess to think he's on it. if celebs are just dropping weight quickly it's most likely ozempic.

on-label, it started as out as a weekly diabetic injection to control blood sugar better
Then later on it was discovered that it makes people lose weight super fast because it changes how your body processes carbohydrates and thus overall calorie intake
so yeah, open secret that people are prescribed ozempic purely for weight loss and depending on where you live that may be counted as a legitimate reason to prescribe

i just wanna see healthy happy people the world over man, ozempic or not. but him losing weight to debut with JYP would go AGAINST the creation of happiness, probably

Has Bang PD lost weight? What comes about this thread?
-
Ozempic lmao
-
Yes if he lost all that weight quickly, people would suspect why. Especially since this is prescribed by a doctor, it stands to reason that a doctor would prescribe it to him due to increased risks of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases by holding on to such a large amount of weight. There's no healthy reason to hold onto to 250 to 300+lbs of weight. The only people that have done this are professional wrestlers who put on the weight in all muscle not actually fat. The average person does NOT do this.

Does this ozempic have any side effects? This might be the way some k-pop idols lose weight so fast
-
All drugs have side effects. This medicine was originally for people with diabetes and from a quick Google search from the Ozempic website - the negative impacts are:
Ozempic common side effects:
Nausea
Diarrhea
Stomach (abdominal) pain
Vomiting
Constipation
Ozempic may cause serious side effects, including:
inflammation of your pancreas (pancreatitis). ...
changes in vision. ...
low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). ...
kidney problems (kidney failure). ...
serious allergic reactions. ...
gallbladder problems. It's better to loose weight through working out, reducing calories, and eating healthier but this process takes time - months and constant prioritization but many people are too lazy to put in the effort continuously. It's the 'instant gratification' that leads to using this drugs to reduce it faster.
