I tried to compare their achievements to BTS and there's a huge gap.
It's true but Blinks' don't want to accept it. What has Blackpink done in America besides perform at a music festival and a few talk shows? You wouldn't consider that legendary if it was an American group. That's just the bare minimum that Interscope is doing for them because they have to.
All of Blackpink's hype is online and if we are calling kpop groups "The Nation's Pride" based off Youtube views, then every single group is one.
Blackpink haven't achieved anything and YG thinks that they'll be the first kpop group to win a Grammy instead of BTS lol.

It's been 5/6 years and their contract is renewing soon. They aren't a new group anymore and their hiatus doesn't change anything because they didn't disband, so they were active.
Blackpink has already hit their peak. YG mismanaging them doesn't change reality and time.
