i don't sleep
this might be weird but i think of random situations (like fantasies ig?) every time before i go to sleep
like i have several storylines that i extend into sometimes during the day and mostly before i sleep
A) read a boring book
or
B) Sing songs in my head until i get bored enough to sleep
I don’t have to force myself to fall asleep, it’s staying asleep that’s the challenge.
Im interested in story plots (not the writing but making the plots like writing a movie plot yk the over arching story) so I like to make up new stories and think about the characters, settings, etc. I take inspiration from kpop idols, songs, lyrics, etc. I usually fall asleep while Im deep in thought about these things. I put on a random video on YouTube (ASMR, cooking, anything to do with food) I mute it as I just use it for light (i dont like sleeping in the dark but theres no reason to run the light bill lol)

I sorta do the same...
I sorta like think about a situation and then sometimes i dream of that situation as well
i can't sleep
I gave up already
I've learned that I can't force it. There are certain times of the day where I just have too much energy to sleep. I just have to catch one of my sleep windows before I miss it.
I don't know how I managed to get asleep. Maybe I'm just too tired. It's hard for me to go asleep after getting in bed.
I don’t know if I am the only one doing this but I listen to Night Rain playlists on Spotify. The rain sounds lull me to sleep
The thing is, you need to wake up everyday at the same time (example like 7 or 8 am), doesn't' matter if its weekend of a holiday, cuz your body will get used to waking up around that time, so naturally you will also start to feel sleepy some hours before (8 or so hours approx. ), so that is what I do
But if I really can't sleep, I just scroll the akp, until I feel like taking a nap
It used to be very difficult. I slept about 4 hours a day. On Canadian pharmacy read about good methods to improve sleep. I started exercising regularly, ventilating the room and taking medication. Now my sleep has become much better but I don`t stop doing sports so that my result isn`t lost
lately my insomnia has gotten worse to be honest sometimes I just stay in bad until "it's time to wake up" to at least pretend I had any rest
I just be taking modafinil
