Wouldn't it be safer if only Idols who are already adults get those brand model/ambassador deals?
what's your take on it?

Absolutely
There's a lot of stories about parents being responsible for their children's contracts that didnt end well, in this case if the company is responsible it can be even worse
I don't think teenagers fit the image that most luxury brands try to market.
You took the words right out of my mouth.
As someone in my 30s who occasionally indulges in luxury fashion, it's actually a bit of a turn-off to see kids trying to peddle the stuff.
yes
i mean some of the fashion is like not exactly fitting for teens or smth so yeah
they do have the potential but they should wait until they're older
I don't see how?
Endorsements can't be worse than being an actual idol and come with a lot less restrictions
how is this a safety issue OP
I think for luxury products, miu miu is fine since I always get a youthful vibe from them, but givenchy and Burberry for teens is kinda ehhhhhh
how is this a safety issue OP
for example very young, underage person going to Milano or Paris
attending event with people from modeling world... when we know how this industry works and that many people there take drugs, drink, not to mention crazy parties with...
just you know
to protect one?
i don't it's a safety issue per say it's more of like why is a 15 year old promoting a luxury brand when they just debuted? like i don't know what teen is going to purchase all these luxury goods? i really don't understand why a 15 year old needs to be going to these big events like idk, shouldn't they just be singing and dancing on stage, it's just a lil weird to me.

I guess thatโs why they have their security and staff there at all times
I just donโt think itโs a safety issue as it is a taste issue. Young people donโt fit certain brands but if the brand are paying money to try and get a new audience Iโd take that money

these brands are also building awareness, itโs like teen boys and sports cars. โYou may not have money now, but when you do, youโll remember that youthful feeling at 15. Buy Burberry.โ
For me its bizarre the bigger luxury brands like Chanel or Dior or LV, if they do, would get a 15 yr old to be a brand ambassador, even though they usually have multiple ambassadors in Korea.
I can understand brands like B&E or Miu Miu as they offer mid-end luxury and more common products like T-shirts and baseball caps, but not the big high-end luxury brands.
By safety you mean like they could get kidnapped by rival luxury brands?
Well modeling and the fashion world are not exactly known to be kind and safe for minors so thats probably what Op is referring to
The average age of luxury buyers in asian countries are much lower than EU and US. So brands are just responding to the trend of their buyers and choosing younger models as well.
