I know how ifans LOVE capitalism, but this practice of cost saving is part of it. The CEOs and investors can keep more in their pockets, the idols might get a little more, if they cut corners on "fan content". They didn't teach y'all about capitalism in school?
IF fandoms will just buy the products no questions asked, why do companies NEED to do more than the bare minimum?

THEY know, as medium to big companies would have business analysts and be able to find out what kinds of promos lead to the highest profits and which ones they can remove from the budget.
