Oh. A hip-hop label..
Smart acquisition, I think. Unexpected but smart. Seems like Hybe is spreading its risk by having a foot in as many different genre markets as possible. There's probably a better term than "genre markets." The have a country label, rap/hip-hop label, pop artist management company, and of course kpop. They were serious about diversifying! They're slowly expanding so they can hold their own against the US labels, I guess?

Migos is not a thing anymore since Takeoff passed away, and Offset and Quavo are not on good terms. City Girls have fallen off HARD since 2020, but Caresha still has her show so there's that.
Only person on that label still worth having is Lil Baby, and his last album was a bit of a miss. Not sure how long Lil Baby's contract is with QC though, so they better wring him while they can cause I can see him dipping and signing with a major label as soon as his contract is up. His catalog is worth a nice penny though, so they can make some money back with him on the roster.

I'm pretty sure BTS all own shares in Hybe. Many companies reward staff, and especially vip staff with shares.
QC has in recent years expanded both its headquarters — with a West Atlanta building that houses four studios as well as its offices — and its businesses, launching Solid Foundation Management shortly after the label and, in 2019, Quality Control Sports, which oversees the careers of basketball, football and baseball players. In addition, QC has involved itself in myriad charitable efforts, including providing groceries for 1,000 Atlanta-area families at the start of the pandemic.
For all its success, QC also has been struck by tragedy, with the murders of rapper Marlo in 2020 and Migos co-founder Takeoff last November — the latter of whom was killed in a shooting at a party in which police said he was an “innocent bystander.”
