Why does it matter whether an idol is "old" or not...if they're talented let them debut
And most of the time people call some idol "old" but they're like 23.... :meanb:

what kinda logic

The army service doesn't seem to impact popularity of a male group that much anymore. Fangirls seem to be fine to wait for their old men group these days.

20 is not old, they are just barely even adults per Korean and most other Asian laws. It should not matter the age of an idol and there is nothing wrong with someone debuting in their mid 20s. Sandara Park was almost 30 when she debuted in 2NE1 and has been one of the leading business women in Korea for almost two decades now, debuting in a Korean group rebuilt her career after some issues with her family. Stories like that are something to be proud to see happen. Let's not shame people because of materialistic society taught reasons.

Way prefer the idea of actual adults with maturity (and potentially more coping strategies in place to deal with all the crap that flies their way) debuting, tbh.

what is wrong with being old and debuting? IDK I don't see anyone complaining about older people debuting, it's usually valid concern over younger idols debuting as the industry is very very very evil and shady and is not a safe place for children.

i mean obviously i don't want a 13 year old to debut. But i don't want a 21 or 20 year old to debut either. too old for kpop

21 is a great age to debut, you are not a teenager you have the right mindset, 21 is not old? you want all 16 year olds? c'mon now.

i'll only make an exception for a few people

All these 20 year-old grandmas debuting. Max debut age should be 5. How far have we gone?

I prefer to see grandmas breaking their hag backs than children being oversexualized

more and more old people are debuting. I just found out that ses, snsd, m.i.l.k, kara, tvqx all debuted under 20
old people need to stop debuting
what do you consider old then? over 20?
