IFPI represent the music industry worldwide. It's not an award. They just do a report every year saying the artists/albums/songs that were the most successful worldwide.

They also do a top 10 music industries for countries. That's always fun to see because it tends to shift every year.

It's a legit chart, it's pretty much the official ranking of the pure sales of last year's albums, world-wide. We suspected that BP would be on it, but it's nice to see it

They r one of the three Korean acts to chart on the year end list of ifpi. Psy and bts being the other two.

i guess we can end the endless fight on who is the worldwide number 1 girl group
