Will Hybe’s webcomic/webtoons be the next revolution?

People love Darkmoon by Enhypen and now Crimson Heart by Le sserafim is a hit too. Will other companies be copying?

No. Other groups/ companies might copy if they have the same deal with Naver that HYBE has. It’s a dumb deal so I doubt other companies will follow.

on the topic of these webtoons, I think they just do it as a way to have another thing in their franchise, yet another thing to direct attention toward their groups while reducing people's time and attention span for all other competitors

For most people it'd be too much, for the few people that engage deeply into this that's their audience

Other companies have done this stuff before Hybe, Aespas whole concept was before this and didn't EXO released a webcomic or something for one of their albums years ago.
