Do you think Txt deserve to be big like NewJeans?

Their debut reminds me of NewJeans, fun, fresh. They have massive hype at debut for being Bighit’s first group after BTS but it never turned into anything. And now Hybe is not even managing them well. If they have better management, do you think they could have equaled NewJeans’ success?

Korea does not seem to care about idol bgs. The last of it being exo/BTS in 2012/13. So in 10 years there has not been a BG they loved (some one off hits and semi hit groups like winner but over all nothing of note) It’s kind of funny how kpop is huge among genZ world over but korean genZ cannot care less about idol boys. I wonder what about them turns them off.

why is any group more deserving of any other? are they harder working? more talented? but again who is to judge who is harder working or more talented? what if I think my favs are more deserving than your favs (and vice versa)? is every group deserving in which case none are deserving?

I get what op says. In my opinion, txt and newjeans can be considered similar. Similar 5 members, no official position and such that. Also both debuted with fun and fresh music which wasnt trend of their time. Even txt had so much hype being first junior after bts, but the result for them are very stark.

I dont see them being less talented than newjeans and since debut their music was literally the most praised, never seen people disliking their music tbh

thats why lol, they had every opportunity but still cant get huge I dont understand whats the problem, their music is much more public friendly and easy on the ears than other popular boygroups but they are not doing much better. When Lovesong released I thought its gonna be hit in sk because people like sad melancholic song from boygroups but it's crickets.
