But eng ver are wayy better
for me it's more like if my brain is used to the song in Korean it cant get used to another language.
-
-
I don't have them but I don't see the value in them either.
-
Well... I don't mind it.
Even though I sometimes might listen to English versions of songs and think it sounds a bit weirder compared to the original. (but I listen to the English version of ATEEZ's Take Me Home and ONEUS's Same Scent a lot)
I mean where I would read the translations to the original song and think the lyrics makes more sense than the English version.
And then there is this Japanese version song, where it also has Korean and English in it, so it felt weird for me to listen to.

I love these english versions more than the korean one actually lol

IVE released eleven Japanese version recently and I HATE it. I don't know why but if I'm already used to a song in Korean listening to it in a different language feels wrong.
Like my ears keep expecting to hear something else I can't get used to it. It's so weird for me.
I actually like when Japanese versions come out so I can sing along and annunciate the words easier personally. I am of course a Japanese based fan originally, my time in the K-Pop zones over the last decade and half are because of growing up with J-Pop in an Asian dominate suburb area. So for me it is just easier to listen to and sing along with but I can understand why someone who is not used to Japanese would be flustered but the JPN releases are for fans who are primarily Japanese oriented either in language or ethnic background, or both.

Japanese versions usually always worse.
...never forget

I kind of like that they hit different. I also find that Japanese is easier to sing along to, but that's because I kind of half assed trying to learn Japanese. I am not great but I've retained some things about it lol.
I suppose it depends though.
-
I agree my brain is like this isn't right it sounds different but I do enjoy the new mvs
-
Nah I love English versions of some songs
Like... I prefer Mafia in the Morning Eng version more than the Korean one
Same for Day 6 Zombie, where the English version really, really, really hits home for me. Probably too much... anyway...
-
The only Kpop English version I like is RV's Bad Boy
-
It depends on the song for me. I tend to not like Japanese versions because im a kpop fan and I speak English fluently so like… ill like it in english if the lyrics translate well.
Open Mind by Wonho
Love Talk by WayV
Who Do You Love by Monsta X
Bad Boy by Red Velvet (EXCEPT the opening line. It could have easily been “who dat who dat who dat boy, comin in the back back making noise” instead of changing the ALREADY ENGLISH LYRICS)
-
Japenese Limitles > Korean Limitless
-
Maybe. I don't have an issue with them.
