Why actors still have bigger scandals than idols?

    Because actors are more fake than idols. Actors become hungry for money longer they stay in the industry.

    Because public does not care about idols

    Kactors have always been more respected in SK than idols, so their scandals have always been seen as a bigger deal.


    People, especially those not in SK, who are fans of idols and not kactors often only see or care about scandals that affect idols so always think idol scandals are bigger when they're not.


    Office workers won't care about V/Jennie but will tall about Minyoung's supposed dating life like there's no tomorrow.

    With a few exceptions general public does not care about idols unless they are truly s-tier, and half of them are from a certain 2nd gen boygroup that are no longer active. Those aside its always actors >>>> idols in rank and status, and thus their fall from grace are also blown up much more.

    I feel like idols had some big scandals too, more often about trivial stuff than happened with actors.


    But it's true that currently actors have higher profile than idols in SK, so when things go wrong with them, it gets more attention too.
