Just saw a news article that an earthquake apparently demaged the gas pipline "Nordstream 2" and this might be a big problem since it'd getting winter in Europe. The pipline goes from Russia to middle Europe BTW and is apparently one of the biggest piplines for gas surply in Europe
Did you hear of the curent gas issue in Europe?

Same.
The prices will go up again... hopefully the winter will be warm this year or we are fucked

earthquake in this region?
I would rather say that either it was faulty pipe and explosion due to leak, or it were... Russians
surprisingly today Baltic Pipe was opened...
so Poland and Denmark should be safe :)

People thinking it was Russia are clowns. Why would they do that? Ofc everyone would blame them. The pipeline costs billions of dollars, blowing up their infrastructure makes zero sense. Gas can be and is their leverage: you do this and we'll give you gas. What now?
If he didn't want to give them gas he could just turn it off, like it is right now. Blame it on the turbine, sanctions etc.
And coincidentally on that same day the baltic pipeline opened
They've been engaged in this conflict for seven months and up until two weeks ago they never damaged civilian infrastructure. Electricity, gas, oil, internet, water, communications, everything worked perfectly. Nato bombed my country. Do you know what they first bombed? All of that. 78 days with barely any energy and communication. Imagine how hospitals were working during those days?
The only winner in this situation is the US. Blinken even said that this is the opportunity to ditch russian fossil fuels and that the US will help Europe with their LNG
