There have all been excellent adaptations of their games sources. This looks good though but it's not much of a stretch because the Last of Us games are already more TV/movie friendly than other fantastical series.

I thought Witcher s1 was pretty good with some interesting stand alone eps. But s2 was average at best, some story decisions really sucked and brought the whole series down.

Though I loved the original Resident Evil (2002 with Milla Jovovich) and Detective Pikachu. And Tomb Raider. And Sonic and Werewolves Within are supposed to be pretty good. Actually, now that I think about it, there are probably enough decent movie adaptations that it should quit being such a surprise every time there is one.
