
I have a pet peeve when I see people doing these things while cooking or baking.

in the UK it's against the safety code. When I was working in KFC I had to check the nails of the employees before shift and ask them all to remove rings if they were preparing the food. Not for those serving though.
I feel like in food service that should be required. At Domino's I made my staff wash their hands between changing stations and everytime after touching the check out terminals before returning to the food line

not just cooking or baking but I'm personally not a fan of long nails per se
