They accepted for Glee to cover some of their songs, such as Cough Syrup or Fix You. I think they just don't want their songs to be used in movies or by artists that would harm their image. Which, I think, is reasonnable.

Anyway, I'll check their Coldplay song, and Billie Eilish's covers always get my attention, even though there are a hundred other songs they could be covering beside Bad Guy Cover When the Party's over or I Love You, godammit. Bad Guy's covers never work that well.
