Different award shows have different criterias
MAMA, MMA, SMA, AAA, FACT MUSIC AWARDS, GDA, KMA etc and more often than not, the criteria u want kpop grps to be judged on already exist in one or the other award show
there's award shows based on korean digitals(mma), judge based (kma), kpop popularity based with a bit of shady snubs(mama), attendance awards (aaa, mgma)
whichever criteria u like best, there is a k-award show for u!
so why all the fuss in the end of the year award show season? 
And also look at the dates. That drives me crazy - "why isn't this song nominated, it came out this year?" when the awards show clearly says it runs to Oct. 31 or whatever.

Tbh if anyone has been into kpop for at least a couple years they’ll quickly realise even the criteria doesn’t matter, most award shows do whatever they want lol.

They are so entitled and bitter. They complain why their groups are not nominated, when it is their fault for not reading the criteria in the first place. Since they didn’t read the criteria, their faves NOT winning is always RIGGED and SAJAEGI. Make it make sense.

Don't take away the joy of complaining from us! How are we gonna distract ourselves from all the nothing going on in our lives?

Because actually looking at facts are most kpop fans kryptonite....However, I prefer those who just whine about their faves not winning over those who constantly say how much awards don't matter but then always whine about their faves not winning...
Can someone to a tldr on the shows? I cba to look them all up
It's the same with music shows. There's always someone arguing that there should be a show that only attendees can win and there's been one.
