This song scares me so much every time. sorry superm fans but this is the most horrible and random high note in music history ever.

It's not but it isnt as good as other SuoerM songs. It's a song I'm gladly to ignore/skip/ forget it exists whenever it comes up in my playlist.

I’ll skip it sometimes but its not horrible and some people act like it is

Eh? SM artists - male and female - are amongst the top sellers in Korea last year (Baekhyun, NCT, Red Velvet), while different artists, including the above artists, as well as Kai and the much maligned Super M, cracked or topped international charts for their releases.

As for the big note, even outside of Kpop, artists throughout rock and r&b have been doing notes like this throughout the years across many songs. Maybe you just don’t listen to that range of music, but while uncommon to find an artist with the vocal strength and power to hit it, it’s not that crazy of a thing.

Baekhyun is a trained professional who continues to get vocal training, I’d suspect to be able to do just this sort of thing. Robert Plant’s been hitting the high notes longer than me or my parents have been alive. Just saying.

Note: I dislike this song because I just don’t think it’s a great song and I think SuperM has better songs in this over the top extra drama mode that work better but man, the way SM vocals live rent free in so many minds that claim to dislike them.
