Kinda predictable they would say something like that since they always brag about having idols with unproblematic personality/clear past. They want to stay consistent with that image.

I didn't find anything wrong with what they said. They are going through this problem because of him. Jyp always talks about personality so they should try and find idols with less problematic past.

Well yeah but company is in a mess bcoz of his past actions so I'm not surprised that they're pissed at him. Honestly i found other companies' statements much better than JYP regarding this bullying issues.

If they care so much about their company's image of personality, maybe they should have a deeper vetting process, just saying.

But once you have someone that's a part of one of your more successful groups, it doesn't make sense just on a business level to throw them under the bus like that. Meet with the victim, issue apologies, do a settlement then a non-disclosure if needed, but why throw your company member under the bus like they have? I agree, doesn't make sense.

Well in conclusion if you wanna be a jyp idol or an idol in general you gotta be born pure and innocent from the start which is unrealistic and impossible for a normal human being. I don't believe that he bullied his classmates cz his classmates can't come up with an exact reason or evidence. They just threw him under the bus like that out of nowhere and people started believing their words instead of using their own judgement. That's why it started spreading among knetz and the knetz who love to drag down artists finally found another new target to bully (hypocrite af) so jyp started prioritizing knetz words more and the company's rep in their country. So they also threw hyunjin undeer the bus as well. Idol industry is one of the most cruelest places you will ever be. Also those people who were saying "he might've caused trauma or a scar in the victims life" even if he did then the victims could've come up evidence and reasons, you can't forget how you were hurt or harmed by other people so easily. So if they wanna accuse someone they should come up with valid evidence. Bullying is something that can't be forgotten but the accuser couldn't even remember how they were bullied.

Yeah, that was a fuckin weird thing to say at that moment. I understand they want to reinforce that particular company image, but doing it by throwing one of your resources under the bus in the same statement you're trying to gain favor for them is such a strange choice.

well like a lot of companies not just kpop the company's image is much more important than the sake of one employee (yes hyunjin is an employee)

i mean, bullying is pretty bad in south korea, especially seoul (where hyunjin was born).
