You're absolutely right.

Advocating for people making threats against all the groups listed to have guns because they're "stopping abortion and the trans agenda" isn't greenlighting more threats and attacks on those groups.

It's not like there aren't a plethora of mass shootings preceded by people making those kinds of threats and then following up on them or anything specifically because nobody could stop them from buying guns or anything

Main reason I'm posting is how Red Flag laws are ripe for corruption by Authorities to deny Civil Rights. Unconstitutional from it's very inception how it ignores the Right of Due Process.

Like the Tom Cruise movie "Minority Report" where people got arrested for Crimes they may commit in the future. The corruption is from who is setting the rules to trigger the Red Flag. It is open ended, undefined and can be anything authorities want to use.

Or in practically, we can finally stop most of the people saying "I'm gonna shoot up XYZ" from purchasing guns and shooting up XYZ. Most of the mass shooters were already on the radar but couldn't be barred from getting guns. Parkland could have been avoided. The Pulse Nightclub shooter was on the No Fly list but could still buy a gun.

There is genuine concern or the typical slippery slope fallacious argument but it's very telling the main concern is losing the right to buy a weapon in the process of pushing back rights for everyone else
