Even when they go on a hiatus, they will pop up on Vlive every other day.
Lol! Just because BTS are taking a little break doesn't mean the whole of K pop is.
I’m talking about 3rd gen
lol Twice is on hiatus now. They haven't comeback since last year. This is there longest hiatus between comebacks
I guess since I’m a blink it didn’t feel as long 🤔
I think we should consider Japanese comebacks as well. They might be just one new song, and a mix of known songs. But it is a new M/V after all.
True. But many also ignore Japanese comebacks and don't consider them real KPOP comebacks because they're not. The whole KPOP public (including international and Korean casual and non-fans) only pay attention to those KPOP comebacks.
But I guess we could count those as well.
i dont think twice will ever really go on hiatus. but i think theyll start releasing the amount of songs a normal kpop group would release.
this year at least, their hasnt been much ot9 musical activities. theyve wrapped up their world tour, dropped a complation album and a cf single and thats it. and if 8.26 is really the comeback date in korea, it'd be their longest hiatus since feel special-more&more (not including jpn releases). i think after the encore show, its been a new era for twice. solo ig, solos, solo osts, solo everything really, but still coming as ot9 at the end.
twice is probably gonna release their 4th Korean Album in August, and their 4th JPN album is releasing in July. I bet JYPE would either try sneaking a repackage or English Single around October-November. Including TWICE4, we'd have 3/4 Ot9 comebacks this year, way less than usual but still a normal number. Maybe instead of another OT9 release at the end of the year we'd get another solo release (Probably from Jihyo or Chaeyoung, I want to say Jeongyeon but i feel like she'd get her solo after those two) or maybe subunit (J-Line Unit I hope...)

Japanese comebacks should count since they still worked on it. Work is work
