Nah I don't see it happening. Maybe some of the delulus who were shipping her with someone else will probably unstan, but I don't see this really effecting her at all. I think for a lot of Jennie stans one of the things they like is that she goes against the grain of typical female idol stereotypes.

I've seen people calling it fake, some people congratulating and then criticizing GD, some people supporting the relationship as a whole.
Personally, I think it's too early to tell since the news just came out today. It's Dispatch, we have no idea if it's true and YG won't confirm it, and I'm glad for that. I think everyone is still in a frenzy because the news just came out a little more than an hour ago.

Apparently most knetz reactions are positive so far, and the ones who are losing their minds are not even blinks so no negative effect... hopefully this doesn't affect her mental state at all, even more importantly than her career

she survived Kai and so far knetz reaction is very positive and supportive.
Lots of it girls during their peaked caught dating too like IU,Suzy,Yoona,Jiyeon,Hani and Seolhyun and none of them getting their career affected so Jennie will be fine (hopefully).

Nah. While it's getting a lot of attention in Korea, most of them are pretty neutral.
And GD's status in Korea is more of that of an actor than an idol. He's a household name, but is seen as more of an artist. So you wont see the usual idol reaction to dating.
Oh and you definitely won't see VIPs making a fuss. They are the chillest fandom out there with this sort of thing.

Dispatch is almost always right and the timing make sense, powerful people seem to be covering up some rapist scandal from the korean football team. And also yg made an statement which is pretty much confirming it's true

It's the reason why I was never worried about any of the girls being caught in a dating scandal. BP is just marketed differently. When you don't sell them as helpless little girls, the reaction isn't usually negative. And this is one of the benefits of having a large female fanbase.
