Is basically a Korean version of only fans. (not all content is like that)

J.Y.Park

I hope none.
It would be degrading and does not reflect the values I would hope idols would hold.

Lots of non-famous Koreans have onlyfans account.

Well I'm sure many think so. It's not in vogue to be anything but wholesale in favor of limitless personal expression and the commodification of oneself in a sexual manner.
However I believe selling yourself and your body in such a manner is degrading. I wish for idols to hold themselves to a more conservative and moral standard.
They should stand for a more respectable and positive ideal of presentation and self respect.
I'm very much in the minority in this view, I'm well aware.

I get what you are trying to say but "conservative and moral standard" is a vague line, like some people might consider dancing on stage in shorts itself as already a non conservative and immoral act while some people might consider even doing onlyfans is perfectly respectable and alright morally, so its hard to say at which point that moral line lies.

With AI and photoshop they can profit on the side with OF without anyone knowing their real identity.

most likely: a member of DIA or another nugu group
You must be thinking of Somyi. There was actually a thread about it: Former KPOP Idol Becomes Camgirl!?
-
I think it would depend on how they market themselves. While K-pop idols are usually under strict contracts, some former idols or independent artists might see it as a way to connect with fans. Seeing how some influencers transition to different platforms, it's not impossible. The top OnlyFans earners already show that if someone has a loyal fanbase and unique content, they can make serious money without mainstream promotion.

It may not be a bad move or even necessary move.
Artists are making peanuts from concerts and streaming, that they may be out of option but to try such platforms.
https://www.npr.org/2025/03/31…cians-kate-nash-lizzie-no
Lily Allen shared on X that she makes more money from 1,000 subscribers on OnlyFans than she does from her nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify.Yes, the platform has an unsavory reputation, but so do clubs and cabarets.
Kpop has been saved from doing such things, due to the anachronistic boom in album sales in the past years, but that is fading now and has too - physical medium has no future.
And that Korean culture still does not like promiscuous behaviour compared to the 'liberated' West. That is the other reason holding back idols.
But otherwise, idols or anyone - artists are better off building even a smaller dedicated fanbase than streaming to millions.
Even now, maybe the top 10% of artists make decent money and that is shrinking, so more will have to use such platforms.Monopolies like Spotify, LiveNation/Ticketmaster and now boom of AI generated content, leave them with very little options.
Majority of aritsts will have go 'hyperPersonal' like companies going 'hyperLocal'. Unfortunately they are bound to be judged by the platform they use.
I read about a Math tutor using phub for math content and actually getting decent numbers. And a computer scientist youtuber as well joined OF
Or perhaps if enough artists/academics etc., do use the platform they can change its reputation.
