There are no recent c-dramas that caught my interest. Mostly modern dramas are on air and I don't really like modern c-dramas. They tend to be too much of a slow burn for me. So, I am catching up on some Korean and Thai dramas for now.

Yeah, not that many cdrama fans here. The only other one I know is Selfmate...but not sure if he is a fan or his wife but at least he knows his c-ent.

Am currently watching who rules the world and love like the galaxy they both are so good..

My faves are too many lmaooo to name a few xu kai , Yang yang , xiao Zhan , Wang yibo , dylan wang , Cheng yi and many others lol and fav actresses are Cheng Xiao and Zhao Lu Si

I watched both. Love like the galaxy is such a favorite of mine. I am in love with the production of that drama...some shots are pure art. I love it so much I actually bought the express episodes. I don't usually waste money like that but I just couldn't wait for the finale ><

I am also watching Immortal Samsara.

I am a big Xu Kai stan with fondness for Liu Xueyi, Cheng Yi, Wu Lei and Chen Feiyu.

so how did you get into kpop in the beginning and as I understand you were a mod for kpop previously how did you end up doing that?

Yes, it did!!

I was persuaded to watch a Korean movie by a friend, which led to me watching a Kdrama, leading me to fall in love with the OST that was sung by a member of a kpop group and I finally found kpop itself. As for modding, it was just a 'why not?' thing. I used to be in events and I knew the mod team needed mods for my timezone. So, I just applied. I don't know about now but I wouldn't recommended anyone to be a mod personally. it was the worst.

Nope. It's expected though since people on this forum don't follow Chinese dramas or idols. For recommendations, I like her drama - The Romance of Tiger and Rose. It's a good one to start with since it's only 24 episodes and had a good storyline. I am currently watching a drama of hers - Love Like The Galaxy - and I totally recommend it. The chemistry, the plot, the acting, the cinematography...everything is perfect!

Ahh, I haven't watched a lot of C-dramas cuz they have a lot of episodes but I'll try to watch Zhao Lusi's dramas.. Are you on MyDramaList btw?

I know they have a lot of episodes but their dramas tend to have very detailed story telling. Main and side characters have well developed arcs and I won't lie but I enjoy the role of female leads in the most fantasy dramas as they are badass. If you have watched Alchemy of Souls and liked it, Chinese xianxia dramas maybe for you.
