  • I. Introduction:

    KID PHENOMENON from EXILE TRIBE is a Japanese dance and vocal boy group formed and managed by LDH JAPAN, signed to Sony Music Associated Records.


    KID PHENOMENON is part of the supergroups EXILE TRIBE and NEO EXILE and consists of seven members. The group was formed through the second chapter of the iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~ audition from 2022 to 2023, with all members being finalists from the first chapter of the audition. They made their major debut on August 23, 2023, with the single "Wheelie".

    II. History:


    **2022:**

    - Announced on November 13 during the TV program Dreamer Z as one of the three groups competing for debut, initially referred to as Group 2.

    - The group consists of Sorematsu Kensuke (leader), Endo Tsubasa, Yamamoto Kota, Suzuki Rui, Sato Shunnosuke, Okao Kohaku, and Kawaguchi Soma.

    - Officially named KID PHENOMENON on November 20, with the demo of their first song "C'mon" revealed.

    - Released "C'mon" digitally on December 28.


    **2023:**

    - Announced on March 26 that they would debut under Sony Music Associated Records on August 23.

    - Revealed their fandom name "SPINEL KIDS" on May 31.

    - Held Musha Shugyo events from June 24 to July 17.

    - Released debut single "Wheelie" on August 23.

    - Announced on September 10 that their song "Sonzai Shoumei" would be the ending theme for the TV anime Rurouni Kenshin's second season.

    - Held free live events titled Purple CirKID from October 7 to 29.

    - Released their second single "Sonzai Shoumei" on November 29.


    **2024:**

    - Opened their official fanclub on February 19.

    - Participating in NAOTO's live tour starting April 7.

    - Released third single "ONE DAY" on April 24, with pre-releases "Ace In The Hole" on March 6 and the title track on April 7.

    - Held Purple CirKID Vol.2 events from March 16 to April 28.

    - Performed at NEXT VIRAL ARTIST events on June 9 and June 29.

    - Set to release their fourth single on October 9, with Purple CirKID Vol.3 events from August 17 to September 16.

    - Opened official social media accounts on December 11, 2022.

    - EXILE NAOTO is their creative coordinator.

    - Fandom name "SPINEL KIDS" comes from the gem spinel, symbolizing the fans as gems adorning the crown of the group.

    - Name "KID PHENOMENON" was given by EXILE HIRO, meaning a group that will create new phenomena while cherishing their childlike spirit.

    - Ranked #8 for "Sales by Artist Newcomers" on Oricon in 2023.
