I. Introduction

A.C.E (에이스) is a 5 member boygroup under Beat Interactive and co menaged with Swing Entertainment.

II. Career

Pre-debut:

Jun used to be trainee under Jellyfish Entertainment, Donghun used to be trainee under CJ,E&M, Wow was trainee under YG Entertainment, Byeongkwan and Chan were trainees under JYP Entertainment.

Debut and after:

On May 23rd, 2017 A.C.E released their debut single album "Cactus", a hardstyle song produced by Zoobeater Sound. A.C.E released their second single album "Callin" on October 19th 2017. On March 18th 2018 the group release a special simgle titled "5tar (incompletion)" gifted to their fans after their short hiatus due to the survival shows MixNine and THE UNI+.

On June 7th, 2018 A.C.E released a repackaged album called "A.C.E Adventure in Wonderland" with their title track "TAKE ME HIGHER". The group member mentioned that Chan did not take part of the productions, since he won on THE UNI+ and temporarly promoted with THE UNI+'s winner group UNB.

On September 14th, 2018 A.C.E got featured on the song "I Feel So Lucky" by the French DJ HCUE.

On May 17, 2019 A.C.E released their second album titled "UNDER COVER" after their title track.

They released their 3rd album "UNDER COVER: The Mad Squad" on October 29th, 2019 with the title track "Savage".

A.C.E released their 4th album "HJZM : The Butterfly Phantasy2 on September 2nd, 2020 with the title track "Favourite Boys". On January 8th, 2021 a remix of the title track called "Fave Boyz" produced by Steve Aoki featured by the Nigerian-American rapper "Thutmose" was released.

On February 5th, 2021 it was announced that A.C.E will be co-menaged with Swing Entertainment. Swing Entertainment will be in charge of the group's domestic broadcasting apperances while Beat Interactive is stil in charge for productions, global marketing and the management.

On April 16th, 2021, A.C.E released the collaboration single "Down", featuring grey.

A.C.E released their fifth extended play Siren: Dawn on June 23rd, 2021 with the title track "Higher". A.C.E’s latest release ‘SIREN: DAWN’ showed their growing popularity. It charted at Number 1 in several countries across the world. The album peaked at Number 1 on the iTunes Worldwide Albums Chart two days after it was released. The countries where it reached Number 1 include (but are not limited to): Brazil, Belarus, Ecuador, Peru, Norway, Indonesia, Russia, Singapore, Portugal and Malaysia. It also peaked at number 6 in the US iTunes chart and number 13 in the UK, two of the worlds biggest music markets. Within just 6 hours of release the album also peaked at number one on the K-Pop Albums Chart. Lead single ‘Higher’ was reached number 3 on the K-Pop Music Song chart. The EP earned many strong reviews with NME praising the members, stating: “Keep an eye on this headstrong quintet, because there’s no question they’ll surprise us in the years to come.”

A.C.E have shown support for the LGBTQ+ community, with the latest showing of support being the release of their song ‘Spark’ which is part of the original soundtrack for Boy Love Korean Drama ‘Light On Me’. ‘Spark’ was released on July 8, 2021. Jun said of the release: “Just like how all of our fans, CHOICE, are different in their own special ways, we know that there [are] a range of different ways to love among all kinds of people in this world which we acknowledge and respect.”

On August 20th, it was announced that WOW will enlist for his mandatory military service on September 10th, where he will be serving as a public service worker. Donghun announced he would enlist as a public service worker on September 23rd.

A.C.E released their second repackaged album Changer: Dear Eris on September 2nd, 2021, with the title track "Changer"

In 2022 it was official that Jun enlisted to the army at February 17th and Byeongkwan is enlisting on 11th of April. Later that year it was announced that Chan would enlist to the army on the 16th of August.
