I. 2017–present: MIXNINE & MAKA MAKA
In October 2017, Heesu became contestants on the reality survival show MIXNINE, where she represented ELEVEN9 Entertainment. She was eliminated in episode 7 after ranking 83rd place.
On July 1, 2020, Heesu changed her account description, to inform fans that she joined the girl group MAKA MAKA.
She also started tagging the group in her posts.
They debuted on August 4, 2020 with their first single ''Burning Power''.
