Sometime in late 2020 or early 2021, Better Company (Better Swagg) teamed up with the agency KNJ Music to form a new idol girl group to debut. It wasn't until June 7 that an Instagram account was opened for the upcoming five-member girl group and soon afterwards, Soyeon was revealed as the fifth member of PEACHDAY.
She will make her debut with PEACHDAY, with the digital single "Cotton Candy'', but the debut date is still unknown.
