I. 2019–2020: White Day Project, Whiteday
In 2019, GN, then known as Jihye, was introduced as a trainee under WD Entertainment through their trainee group, White Day Project.
She later became a member of their girl group White Day and debuted with them on June 14, 2019 with the release of their only digital single, "Shine On Light''.
On October 21, 2020, WD Entertainment announced that Whiteday would disband following the departures of Jihye and Yujung.
II. 2021: G.I.G
On March 8, 2021, it was revealed that GN had now joined CUP Entertainment and she is a member of their pre-debut girl group, G.I.G.
