Doyoung is a member of Treasure.
II. Career
Doyoung was part of YG Entertainment's survival show "YG Treasure Box" in 2018. He did not make it to the group Treasure, but, on January 29, 2019, YGE revealed that he would be in a second group from the show MAGNUM. The plan was for Treasure and MAGNUM to promote as separate units and together as one group TREASURE 13. However, their debut was post-phoned due to scandals from the agency.
YGE announced on January 6, 2020 that MAGNUM and Treasure would simply combine into one group Treasure, and ditch the two units.
Treasure released a performance video for their pre-debut track "GOING CRAZY" on January 20. YGE announced on July 20, that Treasure was going to debut on August 7 with the release of a teaser poster and video. Treasure released their debut single albulm "THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE" on August 7.
