Sometime in 2019, Hyeyeon became a member of the pre-debut girl group Crescendo.
Crescendo was originally scheduled to debut in July or August of 2020, however due to the departure of pre-debut member Dayul and other unknown reasons, their debut date has been pushed back to 2021.
By June 2021, no news of Crescendo's debut were ever released, instead it was found to have changed their group name into Birthday, during which time the girl group opened their first SNS accounts.
Their debut date is currently unknown.
