Laeun originally debuted as a member of Chic Angel under the name Eunbin on February 16, 2017, with the group's debut digital single "Is Love''.
On January 29, 2019, she released a digital single album titled "White Lie" with fellow member Sia. This was the first track on which Laeun is credited as a writer, and she has since written songs for other artists under Liz Entertainment.
Laeun collaborated with Kim Heung-Gook and released the digital single "My Daddy" on May 8, 2020.
On July 1, Laeun was confirmed to be a member of the project girl group CHIC & IDLE.
