I. 2017–2019: Chic Angel, solo debut
U Hee was first introduced as a member of Chic Angel under the name Soyeon.
She officially debuted in the group on February 16, 2017, with the group's first digital single "Is Love''.
After announcing the news on December 3, 2018, she made her solo debut with the digital single "Stay" on December 14, 2018.
She made her first solo comeback on November 12, 2019, with "Mistery'', the track was composed by a fellow Chic Angel member Laeun.
II. 2020–present: CHIC&IDLE
On June 27, 2020, U Hee was revealed as the third member to be added to the lineup of Liz Entertainment's new project girl group, CHIC & IDLE.
She debuted in the group on July 20, with their first digital single ''3!4!''
