She debuted as a member of Busters on November 27, 2017 with the group's first single "Dream On''.
On March 29, 2020, she posted a letter on their fancafe announcing that she was leaving the group to focus on her studies.
II. 2021–present: My Teenage Girl
On September 8, Hyungseo was featured in the trailer for the show My Teenage Girl, confirming her participation.
For the entrance exam she performed "LATATA" by (G)I-DLE and she received enough votes from the judges to pass.
On the finale, she ranked 3rd overall, making her a member of the girl group CLASS:y.
